Demitasse is a specialized nursery design service that allows us to work closely together, regardless of your location. Via emails, calls, texts, pinterest and an online portal we work together to design the nursery of your dreams. This is remote styling at its finest: full strength design delivered quickly and efficiently.

This easy set of questions guides us as we identify your personal style, establish your project budget and understand the true requirements you expect from the space. Armed with the results, each project begins with an accurate vision of your needs and the atmosphere you wish to create.

The Demitasse design process is easy, interactive and streamlined from start to finish. You will enjoy the benefits of working with a design professional without leaving the comfort of your home. This is especially convenient for busy clients expecting a new little one into their home.
The furnishings used in the design of your room are carefully selected from a variety of designer and/or consumer brands. If you prefer, we can place custom orders through vendors and brands with whom I have established professional relationships. Alternatively, you may opt to purchase the items from retailers of your choice.

For those seeking just a bit of guidance on a project, Demitasse offers the "ristretto" option. During a phone consultation you receive personalized guidance and input on your project. Come prepared with any challenges or ideas you may have regarding your nursery. This is especially attractive to clients expecting a second child or those who truly prefer the DIY approach.

Longing for a personal shopper? Macchiato is the ideal service for clients who simply can't find the perfect this, that or the other for their project. Maybe it's the perfect crib, specialty wallpaper or vintage armoire. Demitasse will find exactly the right item and provide multiple alternatives for you to choose from. Macchiato clients receive a consultation call to discuss this and any other challenges or ideas they have for their nursery project.

- detailed measurements of room(s) including windows, doors, ceiling height, architectural elements etc.
- photographs of the space (including one of each wall in addition to one or more of overall room)
- dimensions, details and photographs of any furnishings you already have and wish to use
- list of goals for the room as well as inspiration photos you've gathered
- as much information as possible about yourself, your family, your lifestyle and the child(ren) who will live in the room
What you receive
- furniture plan for your nursery
- concept board featuring color palette, fabrics, paint & wallpaper
- detailed resource list featuring product tearsheets and specifications
- follow-up calls, texts & emails to answer any questions and discuss next steps
